I didn't get on with them very well and can see no reason why I would ever go back to an oversize wing top bar. I used Shimano 10 speed DA levers on mine, and the fact that they are pretty long too made the bars feel even longer, the curve of the bar is very tight, it does however make a very straight transition from bar top to lever. This bars are sturdy, no flex, have a flattened grip for more ergonomic comfort on your palms and basically feel and look great 2 people found this helpful. A-Wing Pro features an unique shape, with flared drops for better control. I installed it on the Cannondale Topstone and wrapped it with some 3.2 Lizard Skins tape. The A-Wing Pro alloy handlebar is designed for Adventure, Gravel and Cyclocross usage. The reach to the controls ended up about the same despite the forward sweep of the bar, so that worked out fine for me. One option may be to tape the bars all the way along, over the top of the wings, but you need some mucho long bar tape to do that, and IMO its too bulky. The FSA K-Wing AGX from a rider’s eye view’. These bars do not have it, only a small hollow in the underside, this means that where the tape stops, just before the wing shape starts the cables come out and in my case drove me crazy, its irritating and they always feel in the way when you ride on the tops.
